This is how you collaborate instead of compete

Band together with Logic

I came across this project Band together with Logic today. I have never heard of (a guy called) Logic, to be honest, but I saw actor Joseph Gordon Levitt talk about him and the project on a talk show. He produced the whole thing.

Basically the rapper Logic introduced a couple of beats and lyrics, and then he shared it with the world and let everybody participate in writing, creating and completing this song.

Rather than competing with each other, all the participants collaborated.

Isn't that beautiful?

I know this isn't actually news for many of us here on Steemit. If you've been here long enough, chances are you've collaborated with someone in some shape or form. Like this for example.

But then, we're a special bunch and we've ventured out to co-create a sharing, connectecd economy. Not everyone does that. So seeing collaborations like that in a big style out there in the world... I find that pretty special.

I also wish that Steemies who find themselves entangled in flag- and comment-spam-wars, get tired of this and remember why we're really here, instead of driving innocent new Steemians away from this platform, before they haven't even properly set their digital foot in it.

Collaboration instead of competition. That's what this whole connect-economy is about! :)
