Marking Two Decades Of Futuristic Astana Being The Capital Of Kazakhstan

in #conspiracy6 years ago (edited)

Happy anniversary/Astana Day to Astana, the now 20-year-old* capital of Kazakhstan (and of course happy birthday to none other than Nursultan Nazarbayev). For your viewing pleasure, here is a podcast on the city, the country and its leader, with the presidential palace and a bunch of the supposed-Illuminati buildings in the background.

When factoring in the geopolitics of Kazakhstan, as well as the country’s internal politics and the rule of its effectively president-for-life Nazarbayev, can one really interpret the symbolism of the futuristic buildings in Astana as being that the city is “The Capital Of The New World Order?” Is the Illuminati actually setting up shop in the land of Borat?? You be the judge.

As for the celebrations, Nazarbayev today received the “20 years of Astana” medal, according to Kazakh news agency Kazinform. Nazarbayev, now 78, also received birthday greetings from a variety of “Eurasian” leaders.

“In the many years you have been serving as the head of state, you have earned respect of the people of Kazakhstan and high international profile,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a birthday greeting to Nazarbayev.

Later in the day, Putin phoned Nazarbayev to congratulate him on his birthday and the 20th anniversary of Astana being the capital of Kazakhstan, according to the Kremlin. The two presidents also discussed bilateral and international issues.

Nazarbayev also received birthday greetings from the presidents of Belarus, Turkmenistan, Armenia, Moldova, Poland, Serbia, Bulgaria and Georgia, as well as from Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

Likewise, the King of Spain Felipe VI congratulated Nazarbayev and thanked him for the hospitality during his visit to Astana last year.

For those of you who think Astana Day is celebrated on July 6 because it is Nazarbayev's birthday, you should think again, at least according to Nazarbayev and Kazinform.

"It is no secret that the Capital Day coincides with the president's birthday," a video published by the Television and Radio Complex of the President of Kazakhstan states. "People guessed why this date was chosen. However, few people know why this date was picked."

The explanation goes on to state that July 6 is Astana Day because on that date in 1994 Nazarbayev brought the issue of establishing the new capital to Kazakhstan's Supreme Council. Case closed... ??

*It is a little unclear when exactly Astana officially became the capital of Kazakhstan. Different sources list different dates or no date at all. However, the Astana city government states today, July 6, 2018, marks the 20-year anniversary of Astana becoming the capital of Kazakhstan. Additionally, there seems to be unanimity that July 6 is the president's birthday.
