Alcohol as genetic warfare conspiracy theory

in #conspiracy6 years ago (edited)

One thing that isn't controversial. Alcohol decreases our intelligence and performance even when consumed in small amounts. This is both mental and physical.

Overall I dislike the feeling of alcohol. Sometimes I'm drinking it for an event or tradition but why? Just giving in to another form of peer pressure. Though on the micro-biological level even a casual drink causes small amounts of damage.

I came across an interesting lecture given at the FSB (formerly the KGB) by Efimov Victor Alekseevich, a professor from Saint-Petersburg State Agrarian University.

He claims that the consumption of alcohol, tobacco, and drugs are often pushed for political reasons. For example imagine the KGB pushing to lower the health in America while the CIA does the same to the USSR during the cold war era.

Of course methods used against a foreign adversary can later be deployed against one's own population for other means. Often lines blur in the modern world with entities playing a grand game of chess that spans all borders. Could a lowering of the population's IQ be a simple play at a higher strategic level?

Clip is only a small part of the full lecture

To many in the west the theory may seem like a wild crack-pot idea. However in Russia professor Alekseevich has received many honors including most recently:

  • The Gold Medal of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation" For contribution to development of agro-industrial complex of Russia ", Diploma of Prime Minister of the Russian Federation (2008)
  • Medal of the Order "For Service to the Motherland» II degree (2014)

Certainly we can say that from a demographic and population studies point of view the rate of alchol consumption and health of a population will certainly have many implications! When we look at it like this the theory almost seems so obvious.

From the macro-scale of nation vs nation, people vs people, the rate of alcohol consumption has huge impacts.

I believe it is for that reason in part that 2 major world leaders Trump and Putin both make a statement of not drinking alcohol. There is the personal health benefit but even more so these leaders send the signal saying now is the time to improve our personal health as a group.

I know there is those who say but how will we have fun or how will we meet people. Is getting drunk and going to bars really as great as media makes it out to be? All my best experiences with friends and women are experiences involving games, sports, exploring nature, and learning interesting things.

I have no problem with others drinking but personally I don't enjoy it or encourage it.

What do you think do intelligence agencies encourage drinking among populations for political and strategic reasons?

Glad to see this post on STEEM. Too bad it is too old to vote and resteem. I've never got drunk and I've never smoked and I've always hated both. It has been the sort of thing that loosers do in my mind. It's a fake sense of accomplishment with a terrible smell on it.

But it's not just alcohol and drugs, Meat, fast food, massive serving sizes (I can barely eat anything after one burger. Most meals are almost enough for 2)

Home baked products get harsh treatment form regulators and most of the stuff we get to buy are loaded with so many chemicals which nobody has the slightest idea about. That's why I mostly stick to organic and vegan food most of the time. I haven't touched fast food in months.

In apartheid in South Africa the government conducted extensive studies on using drugs as population control for black people, alcohol was on the list of drugs tested. You can read more about it here, this is no conspiracy:

Oh this is very informative. Thank you for sharing. I like your comment on the peer pressure from social drinking as it seems that there is a kind of social structure or cultural behavior to enforce the drinking involuntarily. Well, still we can refuse to drink, but sometimes also can feel that why I have to refuse to drink at the first place? :-)

Turn on any tv show or movie ever & people are constantly drinking. Someone comes to your home, you’re trained via media to offer a drink. Time for fun, better have a drink in hand, that’s how they do on the big screen. People are highly programmable & when all forms of provided media & entertainment work towards alcohol programming you get a lot of alcoholics.

Personally, I fell for the programming pretty hard in hi school. I thought I was the biggest toughest kid if I could drink more than everyone else. Luckily, by the time I was in college I saw the programming for what it was & rarely drank. Nowadays I have a few drinks a year, but even those are becoming more rare

Great post @kirkins

Every day we can dig into something and find that you are so easily programmed it actually scares me. What BS have we not been fed on other fields.

I'm digging into the field of science and it is astonishing what we have been taught as fact or scientific. There is a world out there we truly know nothing about.

If you ever have the time have a look at @mistermercury, @jetblake and @positivesynergy. They have some great posts.
