5G Networks to Enforce the Police State?

As emerging 5G networks are being installed in more locations across the globe, new evidence is coming to light of the increased dangers this technology could pose. 5G networks appear to be using the wavelengths with known biological effects, such as those used in crowd control systems developed by the Pentagon. Many groups are up in arms about the spread of 5G transmitters to neighborhoods and schools, often funded with taxpayer money.

Older cell phone and wi-fi signals have relied upon microwaves to transmit wireless signals. These microwave signals use frequencies of up to 6 gigahertz maximum. 5G networks employ high-band frequencies known as millimeter waves to transmit much larger amounts of data over line-of-sight. These applications use much higher frequencies, up to 100 Ghz or more. By using millimeter and submillimeter waves, 5G networks can pass along high bandwidth data in a fraction of the time as conventional microwave networks.

In the past, using these high frequencies was cost prohibitive, as the equipment necessary was unavailable or too expensive. But now, with technology advances, millimeter wave bands are being "unlocked" by federal regulators for licensing by communications companies.

Recently an Israeli study shed some troubling light on one of the dangers using these frequencies in and around our homes and schools. High energy frequencies in the millimeter wave range can burn soft tissue, like skin and eyes that are exposed to it. The research showed how this mechanism works, by means of sweat ducts. When exposed to wavelengths used in 5G systems, sweat ducts across the exposed skin begin to act as helical antennas that trigger nerve response.

This mechanism is the same employed in the Active Denial System, a non-lethal crowd control weapon used by the US military. By emitting millimeter waves in the 95GHz range, the weapon's energy can penetrate the outer layers of skin of its target, causing intense pain. The beams can be spread to cover multiple targets at once, causing victims to flee from the pain. Russian and Chinese militaries are making use of these weapons as well.
