INSTRUCTIONS:

Be creative & make self-portraits not in that common way as the trendy "selfies" but in a high quality way partly describing yourself & your way of life. Every each of us has many different roles to play in life: worker, sportsman, soldier, writer, driver, lover, husband, father, wife, mother, artist, model, waitress, lawyer, dancer, actress, scientist, doctor, singer, musician, politician, manager, nurse, porn star, prostitute, gigolo, pimp... or some kind of an imaginary character - somebody who you would like to be... There is plenty of inspiration for the theme!

Nudes are also very appreciated & welcomed as well as the conceptual & art #photography.

#Photos can be full color, b&w & #monochrome tones.

How to apply for the #contest:

1. Use a #self-portrait tag as one of your tags in the post.
2. Clearly mention the #self-portrait photo contest in your post title or post body & tag me in your post - @careassaktart (As this will help to grow this contest). For example: "This is my entry for the #self-portrait photo contest by @careassaktart"
3. Ad a short story / explanation / description to the photo.
4. Your #self-portraits must be your original work as well as the text following! Stolen content will be immediately reported to @steemcleaners.

Here I am again, at the end, or the beginning, it depends on how you look at it… Don’t know if there’s anything to say anymore?! Did I sell a pig in a poke?

Here is where a story ends, a generally accepted social agreement which dictates our system, and where something else begins, something unrevealed and unknown to the unconscious mind which hasn’t yet met the heart of the body these two inhabit. It hasn’t accepted the fact that the soul exists in an organic vessel which enables the movement through a several million times more intelligent ether that we so generally and collectively underestimate and exploit without regret. It’s just here and we take it for granted, and why shouldn’t we… but then again, why should we?

Maybe my approach is false. Maybe helping others who perhaps don’t need my help is false, because they don’t know for anything better or are afraid to lose things they firmly hold onto out of fear of experiencing the worse, which is already written in the memory of their program, while their fingers are getting pale from the pain and suffering from their own ignorance…

It doesn’t matter. It’s not important. Who cares?! Goodbye and good luck! Let love follow you and all the best things come true, no one getting hurt along the way! So long!

Space Travel is my multimedia project which appeared to me in the spring of 2014 when I came back from India & was visiting my friend in Zadar. I borrowed her bicycle & drove myself all the way to the interactive installation called "Greetings To The Sun" created by the Croatian architect Nikola Bašić... & then it struck me! Suddenly the words were coming to me - the words above - following the 1st portrait - The Sun - out of the Space Travel series...
