How I can promote steem!

Our world is continually being bombarded with great ideas and new ways for doing things. And just recently, we saw the emergence of a new set and kind of money. They called them crypto currencies. Digital money backed up by, managed and run on the blockchain. So far, the whole concept has been received with mixed feelings with many doubting the reliability of the whole process upon which it is built. This is even widespread among the many experts in the field of commerce.

As more and more crytocurrency based platforms emerge, we are forced to realize that cryptocurrencies are here to stay. Just like old technologies, they may be ignored at first but would end up gaining worldwide acceptance. And talking of a crytocurrency based platform, steemit is one that surely rings a bell as I am actively involved in it. Steemit offers writers a platform to showcase their writing skills and send their message out to the world, getting paid in the process. They get paid in Steem and SBD, both cryptocurrencies upon which steemit is founded upon.

Although the idea of writing may be fascinating and attractive to make, the very fact that it all falls back to a crytocurrency can be quite repulsive, especially for people who are not so optimistic about the future of cryptocurrencies. To remove this line of thinking from the mind of people and make them see steem and virtually any crytocurrency for what they truly are, there are some steps I believe need to be taken.

Every one cannot support something they have no idea about or which they don’t understand. For a new idea to work out, people need to know about it and see if it would be of benefit to them in the long run. This is the same for steem. People need to be told that the steem is as valuable as the hard currency that they carry around with them every day. Just like a new business starting up, the business either satisfies an existing need or makes people see the need to use the product. By making people see the reasons why steem works and makes transactions easier to carry out, there would be a large number of people supporting it.

I have noticed that a lot of people drop out after a while, and a close scrutiny at the reason shows me that it is because they are not in the right groups and are not properly oriented about it. I plan to change that, by orientating them and sending the right links that would help with that.
