A Favorite Freewrite

Every Tuesday, you have a chance to win a membership to Steem Basic Income, SBI, at the Freewrite House.

Try to win one, my friends. An everlasting vote on your posts is nothing to sneeze at.

We want to make it super easy for you. Your task is to tell us in the comment section about one - or more- freewrites of others you have read in the last couple of days you really liked. Yup, not your own!!

The comment must be at least 50 words long - no upper limit 🤪

See the rules below for details.

In an ideal world, you also give that person a nice upvote - but we are not going to check on that.

To be entered into the drawing, go to the Daily Prompt post by @mariannewest. We are doing our best to resteem them to the Freewrite house profile.
Read as many Freewrites as you can. Then tell us about a freewrite you really liked and why.
Choose from the last couple of days if possible so others can go, visit, and, inspired by your description, leave a vote.

My three for this week are all for the rat trap prompt I had fun looking at while doing my "encourager" job on Monday.

@wonderwop had no trouble nor regrets when getting a rat out of his compost bin. He also has a lucky trap!

https://steempeak.com/freewrite/@wonderwop/day-688-freewrite-sunday-rat-trap

@hlezama wrote an amazing poem about the remains of the rat with wonderful imagery.

And @jdkennedy has a couple of creatures going in his freewrite, neither of which are rats!

I never know what these freewrites will bring me, but it is always entertaining :)

Thank you for the mention @fitinfun 💕

I enjoyed reading this one by @wakeupkitty with the prompt "a break for us all". The story was very real and many couples face a similar situation. Some managed to work it out and some don't. The way she wrote this piece, was very imaginable in my mind and I could almost feel the frustration of the female character which made this my favourite for the week.

Thank you for your recommendation. It is always interesting, at times surprising, what and how others see your story.
I wish you a great day/evening 😘💕

So far I read 15 freewrites with the prompt screeching tires and the one I liked most was @wonderwop his "Screeching tires" which you can read HERE.

It is a poem. An easy to read with a certain rhythm that makes you read on till the end and... read it again. A story is told and the reader will be left with the question What will happen next?

@wonderwop you brightened up my day with this one. Thank you so much for writing and sharing it 😍💕

@freewritehouse, Kindly find the below blog post link which is shared by @fitinfun.

After the Hardfork we saw a Culture Change and definitely it brought lot of effective changes and many Small Accounts who are putting so much efforts getting the needed recognition. And @fitinfun left some tips which can help new Steemians for sure.

I do my best to read all entries and vote on them to show my support for the team. Here are two of the ones I did enjoy and took note of to recommend:

@stinawog
5-minute-freewrite-a-break-for-us-all

I like the way it was written -- so natural. I liked that touch of sarcasm as well.

@onyechi
freewrite-a-break-for-us-all

I love the tips that were included in order for us to maintain balance. I'm a huge fan of balance and harmony in life, so I could relate with what was written.

My favorite freewrite has to be
@gandhibaba
https://steemit.com/freewrite/@gandhibaba/free-write-maturity

I love his post about maturity, it pointed out a lot, people misunderstand what maturity is all about a lot

Awful boss from @improv
https://steemit.com/freewrite/@improv/awful-boss-5minutefreewrite
I chose this because reading it reminded me of my awful boss,i could totally relate

Thanks for the nomination. I'm grateful

I'm still here. Still alive. Still functioning. (For the most part.) Just posted the Friday favorites - OMG where did it go - the one time I didn't copy/paste the whole post before hitting Post -- please please be somewhere!!!!!
----Meanwhile, I nominated
@deeanndmathews

Is a prolific writer, published "for real" outside of Steemit, and her skill is manifest in every freewrite. We all know that many or most of us here do not publish a raw freewrite. We write for five minutes, keep writing when the timer goes off, then proofread, edit, and polish. Should I conduct a survey...? @improv is one of the very few I know of who consistently writes five-minutes-only and posts without proofreading. That said.... this post from @deeanndmathews is a classic (and recent!) example of how writing to the daily prompt can unleash a story with characters and dialogues that might never have come to us if not for the daily @freewrite prompt.

HELP!!!!! I spent all morning on this post, copy-pasting, upvoting, hyperlinking, etc, and now the post is GONE after I hit "post" - where could it go???????????
