A call for participants: "5th weekly round of @photocircle & @archisteem collaboration"

Few weeks after we co-founded the @archisteem project, the 1001 Places to remember contest was brougth to operation through the hardwork of my fellow co-founders @kimzwarch & @cklai. The intention for the contest is to allow participants or contributors to express their thoughts about architecture or a place that is significant to their life or to their memory and be rewarded for it.

The @archisteem project serves as the community portal for these architectural & memorable places related posts. The theme for the contest is flexible enough that it aligned to the other project’s contest themes. Once again, with the initiative of @kimzwarch, a contest collaboration take-off in action. At the moment, the collaborations are with @aaronli’s A City A Story and @photocircle’s Top 10 Contributors for “Architecture & City”.

In these collaboration, all participants will have the chance to win both contests’ offered prizes. It will be a good thing for a participant that is relatively new to the Steemit platform since their work will be exposed to multiple communities at the same time.

For this post, I will focus on the collaboration of @photocircle & @archisteem in motivating participants to come up with an article that will be qualified to both contests.

Of course in every contests, there are qualifications that a participant would need to fulfil, these are the simple & easy rules to follow:

@archisteem contest rules:

• Images and text should be genuinely produced by the author
• The story should be 300 words or more
• use both #archisteem & #placestoremember as your tag

@photocircle contest rules:

• No Plagiarism
• A minimum of 1 photo
• use of #photocircle as one of the tags

As mentioned earlier, even though the contests are run separately, each participant will get the chance to win both prizes.

@archisteem prizes:

• 1st prize: 5 SBD (+ the received SBD from this post’s reward)
• 2nd prize: 3 SBD
• 3rd prize: 1 SBD
• 4 consolation: 0.25 SBD

@photocircle updated prizes:

• Top 1 contributor will win 2 SBD
• Top 9 contributors will have an equal share of 3 SBD
• Top 10 Contributor badge that will qualify the participant to the Photocircle Hall of Fame contest

Let’s talk about the deadlines of each contests:

In the case of @archisteem, the Season 03 was officially opened on the 1st of June 2018 and on each round there will be 2 weeks to accept for entries.

While in the case of @photocircle, the contest is operating on a weekly basis, the deadline is every Wednesday of the week. For the current round, it will be on the 6th of June 2018 at 11:30am EST.
