LOL, Ba da bot bing, we've been punned! You see, it's funny because our topic this week is Valentine's day and by thanking us for the "LOVELY" entry good ole Dcomedyclub could be referring to the charming nature of the material that was submitted for review (most likely) but there also is a double meaning possible since the sentiment often expressed on Valentine's day is one of romantic love.

For Valentine's day last year my wife cut out a piece of felt cloth in the shape of a heart and glued it to the front of her card for me. Inside she told me that she loved me but wished that I would not waste so much time trying to create puns. I thanked her for the card and told her I knew it was HEARTFELT.

Valentine's is a very important day for many couples. Not for us anymore. I love my wife, but I can't afford the gifts. We've got house projects to fix. Our relationship is doing fine, but the hinges are falling off ardour.

I expect some great puns and certainly some FLOWERY language from the competition.
I just saw that Whole Foods is selling 2 dozen roses for just $20 on Valentine's day for Amazon members. It sounds like a PRIME opportunity to save a few bucks.
You don't see many good deals on flowers on Valentine's day but this year Whole Foods ROSE to the occasion.
I heard Stormy Daniels is coming out with a book on Valentine's day about her secret fling with Trump. At this point I don't really want to learn AMOUR.
There is this huge guy that parks cars for folks at a local restaurant that everyone calls, "Tiny." Last year on February 14th he heard someone choking inside and rushed in to save her life by giving her the Heimlich maneuver. It turns out that the choking lady was our beloved mayor, Ima De Punster. In gratitude, she made every February 14th an official holiday in our town known as, "VALET TINY'S DAY."
