Oddy’s minions grab you with their deformed arms and tie you tightly to the operating tables, while the machinery in the room pulsates with a bright pink light.
The straps are so tight that they penetrate the flesh of your wrists and ankles. You see that also Machete, Tres and Tio can’t free themselves, despite their spasmodic efforts.
"I see you’re amazed. Ah! Ah! Ah! You will be surprised to know that the success of my music videos, the extraordinary realism of their special effects, depends on the fact that the ones you see dancing are not masked actors. I only use real living beings, whose appearance is modified by the advanced bioengineering technologies I have developed. Yes, gentlemen, I literally turn failed rockers into real monsters! Successful rockers!" Oddy pontificates about his wicked machination.
Turning your head with difficulty, you notice that Oddy's servants are distracted by their leader's monologue. They listen to him dazed, applauding from time to time with their disproportionate and gloved hands.
Seeing your opportunity, you look for a way to escape.
You are tied to the side of Tres, and with some twisting you think you could grab his lucky bass string, which he always wears around his neck. And you are reasonably sure that you can jam the machinery by sliding the string into a slot connected to the operating tables.
But then you remember your secret sharpened pick in your pocket that you might be able to reach if you contort in a different direction.
Your last option would be to try to convince Oddy's servants to rebel against their cruel master. They don’t seem evil to you, just easily manipulated.
If you try to persuade Oddy’s freaks to rebel to their master, turn to 39.
If you throw Tres’ lucky string inside the machinery slit, turn to 40.
If you cut the ropes thanks to your sharpened pick, turn to 41.
