“Get out,” the driver of the van provided by Pig Nose says.
Machete slides open the door and gratefully steps onto solid ground. You and the bandmates follow him and the van speeds away. You’re standing at the end of a long wood and steel pier. At the other end is a rusty old boat, just like Pig Nose promised.
You and the others walk up the pier. As you get close, three burly men come down the gangplank and block your way. They’re dressed mostly in black, with t-shirts and leather jackets. One of them has chains hanging from his belt.
“Uh, Hi,” you say, “my bandmates and I booked a trip on your boat.”
“Not a boat, it’s a ship,” one of them says in a thick Irish accent.
“No one gets on board without the Cap’s approval anyways,” says another in a similar accent.
“We’ve got a note,” Machete says handing them the ticket Pig Nose provided.
One of the men takes the note, looks at it, then walks back up the plank.
After a few minutes he comes back.
“Cap says she’ll see you,” he says waving his head toward the gangplank.
You and the others follow him.
