Cover a Steemian update (08/07/2018) - New entries , Song pool update.
Hello Steemit!
Another week and we keep rolling with this #coverasteemian initiative ! we haven't missed one single week ever since we started .. and I hope we don't ever miss one ! (Knock on wood). So , here we go again!
I Won the ''Make A Minnow'' contest this month!
This came as a big surprise to me! Thanks to the whole MSP family I won a 5000SP delegation for a month :) ! So i'll be able to bring some extra rewards to all the Steemians that want to participate on the #coverasteemian initiative ! I'll drop my 100% upvote to whoever submits an entry !

- The Open Mic Contest needs our help!
As some may know, The Open Mic contest is going through a little bump on the road and is having issues with funding their reward pool for prizes , we all know how much @luzcypher helps the music community on this platform so it is our turn to give back! I have been promoting alongside other steemians ways to help and fund the contest , here is a post explaining this in more detail:

As you may know , there is an account used for voting all valid entries to the open mic contest, this is a way to give some rewards to all the participants and help add some incentive to the music community. By joining the trail you will be upvoting all the valid entries in the contest , helping fellow musicians and also earning some curation money while you sleep! good deal huh?

This week it was my turn to get covered! @beto14 had already played this song on an acoustic and vocal performance but came back this week for a full band approach :) ! Thank you very much for choosing one of my songs and taking your time to ''make it your own'' and even make a audio/video production around it :) ! -Contact him/her and ask permission to cover his song unless it is in the ''Song Pool''.
-Please , don't do a ''cover of a cover'' .. meaning copying another #coverasteemian entry or it will not be considered valid.
-No playback!
- Soundcloud , D-sound , D-live and D-tube links are also accepted.
-Do a post using the tag #coverasteemian, #music should be your second tag.
-The title of your post must start with ''Cover a Steemian''
-Tag @pechichemena and the Steemian you are covering.
-Share your post in the last ''Cover a Steemian'' update.
-Give us a little introduction of the song and why you want to support that Steemian.
-Transfer at least 50% of the SBD of that post (100% and even extra is still encouraged).
-Cover a Steemian ''Song Pool''.
