Last Week's Winners

I'm a little late in getting to this week's contest. But, it's time to announce the winners!

First Prize

First place and 3 SBI shares goes to @fitinfunfood. For them, 'G' is for Ginger. I didn't use to like ginger, but that was because the only time I had eaten it, it had been pickled. I generally don't like anything that has been pickled! But, after trying ginger in other foods, I found that I really enjoy it!

In their article, @fitinfunfood shows pictures of ginger bought in markets around the world; everything from whole ginger root to diced ginger to powdered ginger! There is even a picture-by-picture guide to making fresh ginger tea starting from the whole root! It does appear that the more processed it is when you buy it, the more expensive it is. But, that's one of the cool things about taking charge of your own diet! Not only is it way healthier, but when you're willing to do more of the work yourself, you save quite a bit of money!

Second Prize

This week's second place prize of 2 SBI shares goes to @vestlife for a beautiful photo of The Gorge of Mijas in Spain. Check out the post to see more images from the bottom of the nearly 20 meter crevice. It truly is a sight to behold, even in the pictures. I would love to see it in person!

Third Prize

This weeks third prize of 1 SBI share goes to @izaid for a very artistic image of an empty Garbage can on the sidewalk lining a street. But, why was the can empty? Because most people refuse to use it; instead, choosing to throw their garbage in the street, or sometimes on the ground right beside the trash can! Collectively, it would only take a small mount of effort to remedy this problem, but it all starts with you and me!

This Week's Contest

In this contest, you will be photographing your way through the English alphabet one letter at a time. This week, your inspiration will be the letter 'H'. Do with it what you like! Photograph things that look like an 'H'; Capture images that elicit emotions that start with an 'H'. You can be as literal or as abstract as you would like. Just be able to give a short description of why you were inspired take the shot.

First, take a picture inspired by the letter 'H'. You may edit it however you would like, as long as it remains your original work.
