Let's cook Courgette Pie with bacon

I made an oven dish yesterday for two/three persons that takes some preparation but is not complex. Let's call it a kind of quiche or harty pie.

Ingredients:

  • 100 gramm bacon slices
  • 2 courgettes and a small onion
  • 250 gr Mon Chou or other creamcheese
  • 1 or 2 eggs and some pepper (no salt!)
  • sliced almonds
  • 7 puff pastry leaves (unfreeze 10 minutes) and some flower

And tools : A mixer a WOK and a spring baking form and a roller

Ok here we go with the pictures of some of the ingredients :

The preparation is to bake the bacon and with two knives cut it in pieces. (leave there)
Mix the egg(s) with the mon-chou and some pepper till smooth (leave there)
Bake the courgette in a wok on high fire untill colouring add onion and turn out after a minute
Mix the three together (no fire anymore because of the eggs) and use to fill the form after the pastry is in.

Role 6 pastry leaves together to form a form covering shape; butter the form and cover inside with the pastry layer and remove with the roler the excess.

Now fill the form further with the mix.

Cover with some almond slices and some extra pastry lanes.


35-40 minutes in a pre heated oven 190-200 Celsius and you can eat!
