ভারতবর্ষের একটি রাজ্য পশ্চিমবঙগ এই রাজ্যের কুটির শিল্প সারা বিশ্বের কাছে সুনাম অর্জন করে। সাধারণত গ্রামাঞচলের বেশীরভাগ মানুষ এই কুটির শিল্পের উপর নির্ভর করে জীবনযাপন করে। পশ্চিমবঙগে বিভিন্ন রকম কুটির শিল্পের জিনিস বিশ্বের বিভিন্ন দেশে রপ্তানী করা হয়। যেমন তাঁত শিল্প, পশ্চিমবঙগর তাঁতের কাপর বিখ্যাত নদীয়া জেলার শান্তিপুর ও ফুলিয়ার শাড়ী বিখ্যাত। এছাড়া মৃৎ শিল্প কৃষ্ণনগরের মাটির পুতুল বিশ্ব বিখ্যাত। বাঁশ ও বেত শিল্প, বাকুড়া ও পুরুলিয়া জেলার পোড়া মাটির জিনিস। এছাড়াও কাঁঠের আসবাসপএ, রেশম শিল্প, এছাড়াও পশ্চিমবঙগের আরো অনেক রকম কুটির শিল্প সারা বিশ্বের কাছে সুনাম অর্জন করে আছে।
