African Landrover Wooden Art Sculptures.

Hey everyone, about 6 months back I made a post about a resourceful artistic man who sold his amazing wooden sculptures on the side of the road . His name was Oliver, subsequently a week later he was featured in the 'Pretoria News' one of South Africa's Oldest newspapers.

Yesterday I took my electric scooter for a ride to a client to see what was needed for another bee rescue mission and on my way there I met a few friends of Oliver, colleagues even, Vincent and Lawrence. They are also Malawian and also sell their awesome wood carvings on the side of the road. They all work together just in different parts of Pretoria.

How amazing are these?

Turns out they have a few new awesome sculptures too. These range in price from R200 ($15) to about R1000 ($75) I just love the talent and resourceful African 'never say die' spirit and tenacity!

These guys really do deserve a lot more than they are currently earning each art work takes around 4 days to make I am told. Would there not be an international market for these?

Toyota Land Cruiser how nice is this? Spades, gas cannisters, roof racks and all the extra storage needed for a full blown African Safari, talking of that, who's coming to South Africa for a vacation? If so let me know we can organize a Steemup with a few other cool South Africans from here too!!

A general overview of all the artworks on display for sale and in the backdrop my electric scooter which I currently use to get around, until crypto's pick up this will do for now and then maybe I will be buying a Lambo? LOL ;) we can wish eh!
