A child's sacrifice to save

The child stood in the wild waiting helplessly in the cold forest for the appearance of a wrinkled brown skin man dressed in black robe. She was promised a remedy to save her dying mother. Her mother was severely sick; no traditional doctor in the land could heal her, only the healer in black robe knew how to liberate her of the strange illness.

The girl was strong, she was ready to gamble her life to save her dying mother. " go to the forest and wait in the cold" he said; "wait patiently, the cure doesn't exist, it can only be created from the freezing and shivering of a virgin's body who withstands the cold wind of the forest without dying" — in obedience, the girl was losing consciousness and shaking ceaselessly as the cold freezed her feeble body, which in turn created tiny bit of healing potion into the magic bottle of the healer who was uttering native incantation on the diseased behalf in his coven.

Time ticked so slow, she was frazzled from giving her all to save her mom, her eye lids were blinking slowly, waiting desperately for the healer, and when she couldn't take it anymore, she gave in; fainting gradually to the ground. In the nick of time, a free hand swinged swiftly to catch her falling head. It was the healer, he said to her, peering into her numb eyes, "rest my child, the cure has finally been created from your courageous sacrifice, your mother will live!!!" — that was the last she heard, when she woke up, she found herself on the bed and her mother looking strong with eyes closed and hands joined together praying to the deity. She didn't say a word, she chose silence; all she did was roll her head to the other side with a sad smile.
