Dear single guys

It's only right I speak to you since I seem to have covered every other category. It is not easy being a single man. There are so many beautiful ladies and I know it's a tough decision choosing who You wanna be with and even a more difficult decision deciding if she's the one to spend your life with.

The thing is there is no perfect women out there. We all have a past. We all have our flaws. Just like you have yours. Don't go judging a young girl based on her past. It is either you can deal or you can't and if you can't just walk away. There are millions of girls out there. Don't act like you can deal but sing of her past at every lil mistake she makes in a relationship. Who talks about all your shenanigans?

Young men, they say you can always tell she is the one from first meet. I'm not a Young man but it's a popular opinion amongst men. If you know she isn't the one, no matter how much of a goddess she is on bed, please let her go. It is not good to waste her time for years promising her marriage when you know down in your heart, she will never walk down that aisle to meet you. Where is thy conscience?

She is your girlfriend not your slave. Don't subject her to ridiculous house chores as a way to prove she is a wife material. That shouldn't be a basis of determining if a woman will make a good wife or not. You invite your friends over and make her prepare three course meal and spend the whole day washing the dishes and keeping the house clean so your friends can tick her good. That's just unfair.

If you must sleep with her, have the decency to use protection. Don't knock her up. You see, she is the one with more to lose from being pregnant. She's the one that will face the societal shame and stigma that comes with it. She's the one that will bear the child for 9 months and if you decide to be irresponsible by denying the child, she's the one that will bear the pains of an abortion. For the ones who can't go through single motherhood. All these can be prevented by just using protection.

Don't make promises you can't keep just cos you want to get her under your sheets. Don't promise marriage when you know you do not have it to offer. Don't promise relationship either when you know sex is all you want. Be honest, it's a good policy. There are always those who also seek what you seek. Look for them.

If a lady says no, she means no. Don't go thinking she means something else then force yourself on her. Respect women. Respect their decision. Be a gentleman. Let her come to you at her own time. If a lady do not want a relationship with you, be decent enough to walk away. You don't have to abuse her or make her feel worthless. She only said no not insult you.

Dear single men
Let's purge the world of heartbreak and time wastage in relationships. If this ship is gonna sail then sail it, if it is not, leave it at the harbour for the next sailor.
