Creative Street was invited to be a part of Pagsibol Cavite 2019,

an environmental awareness event whereas art, forum, cultural performances and music were present. This was held last August 10 at Inbox Food Hub at Imus, Cavite.

Creative Street handled the opening program called Art Movement in Environmental Awareness in where the value of art in nature and how can they co-exist without the destruction of environment was discussed. Artists who promotes environmental awareness were also introduced. The programmed also included a group dynamics for the attendees of Pagsibol Cavite. Each team were given 20 minutes to make an artwork using the materials found around the area such as rocks, sticks, bottle crown and cups.

ABOUT US

The group was initially founded to conduct art workshops for the less fortunate children. And with the help of my other volunteer artist friends, we aim to provide these free art lessons to the street children of Manila, hopefully catering to and assisting around 50 kids on every leg of Creative Street. And today, we are not just conducting art workshops to street children but also to juveniles under rehabilitation and even children with special needs. We also started on promoting environmental awareness through art movements. Art talks and forums has also been one of our activities which engages more youth to pursue their art and use creativity and imagination more.
