Folk crafts sometimes make our culture rich and unique. A variety of painted objects, toys, fabric and much more performed by the Kuban masters worthy of recognition, it is amazing what has become a common peasant household art.

These dolls appeared in the Kuban region about 5 years ago, then when I learned to make fabric from flax. Up to this point the children were playing in tie-dye dolls, and they were not the usual toy. Doll played the role of amulets created for protection from the evil eye, various diseases.

His eyes did not draw specifically to such sacred is not a toy possessed by the soul of man. In olden days it was believed that such dolls are a symbol of wisdom and can become a homemaker.

Dolls served as a talisman for babies, in such crafts people put a certain sense. And be sure must have been 3 items of clothing: skirt that symbolized the earth, long-sleeved shirt (link to the past, present and future), and a bright kerchief on her head (the connection with the sky).

Aside from dolls, was greeted and animals. Especially liked the straw ox with birch legs. :-)
