A Cry For Help

Psalms 107:6 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.

At times in life we cry because of difficulties, distress or problems we encounter. Most times people we love make us cry, especially when they act in a way we never expected. Life becomes more difficult when we have nobody to cry to. But today, let us learn to cry to Jesus, because He's the only one that understand and cares about us. Brethren, others will condemn us and call us weak, but Christ will always be there for us.

God has never resisted the cry of the righteous. By track record, the Almighty God is the deliverer of those in distress. He never abandoned anyone before, He's not going to abandon you as orphan. Rather than crying to men, cry out to Jesus and He'll not pass you by. In Mark 10:46, blind Bartimaeus cried to Jesus for mercy. Though his negative condition gave him a negative name, Jesus heard his cry and changed his story.

Are you crying to your pastor, uncles, aunties, siblings instead of crying to God? Man is not created to deliver a fellow man, only Jesus can make a way. Cry to God today.

Heavenly Father thank you for being our deliverer. Today we cry to you, have mercy on us, our families, our churches and our nations. Please as we bow to you, don't let us bow to any man. Deliver us from distress, in Jesus name. Amen.
