According to the expert, the introduction of such a ban can have only one explanation – Google is preparing to release and promote its cryptocurrency in the near future. Many experts in the field of cryptocurrencies agree with this opinion, also suspecting Google of unfair competition and doubting the sincerity of the Corporation's intentions to protect people from scams.

The company's management explained this step by the fact that data on cryptocurrencies often misinform people, forcing them to make wrong decisions, and can also become an effective tool in the hands of fraudsters.
