The top 5 gainers by percentage on coinmarketcap.com today include Steem in number 4! This could be a great sign; something to consider too, going forward is how the relationship between Steem and XRP continues. It would be interesting to see if there is a correlation. It's funny that within a day of the bug that brought Steemit down yesterday, that it has such a gain; I wonder if press surrounding the bug caused the uptick or had a part in it. As they say, all press is good press. As I've continued to state, the price of Steem is an amazing deal right now and I'll continue to top up as we approach the release of the SMT Test and then Main Net! 14% gains will be a laugh at that point, I predict! I think we will see a huge amount of money getting moved into Steem and it wouldn't surprise me if this puts Steem in a potential position to be THE Cryptocurrency to cause a Flippening with Ethereum to occur. I love Ethereum and think the Ethereum Network has a bright future, but I could imagine a world where Steem has a similar or higher marketcap. There is so much usage of it! I hope everyone is having a great month as we approach Fall! :)

@biddle, For sure it's an effective increase and we should consider it as an positive point and we have to keep faith because we are now close the effective updates and we have to wait and to watch how the Steem Economy will grow, but in my opinion today's patience will going to give the effective results tomorrow.
