148 Days Sounds Like A Long Time, But is it ?

148 Days 12 hours and 29 minutes as of writing right now is when the next litecoin halving will happen.

148 days does seem like a long time but when you chop it down to months you see it is just about 5 months away which puts us as August 7th 2019.

We all know that August in the past has been a hot bed for cryptocurrency in terms of when it starts to drum up traction and get moving up into December. Will litecoin repeat this or will it fall flat once the halving takes place?

Some predictions put litecoin rising in the short term 3-5 months leading up to the halving and then dying off shortly after because there is no sense of urgency anymore.

However my prediction puts litecoin as remaining stong.

The reason for this is that litecoin has put in a ton of work and effort as of the last two years to build and marketing their coin. It is why it has always been considered the silver standard to bitcoin as gold.

When you look at gold and silver you will always see a higher return on silver and this to me is simply because owning 1 oz of silver is greatly less expensive then attaining 1 oz of gold. This also seems to factor into bitcoin and litecoin.

If you look at price movements in the past you will see the litecoin has outperformed percent wise bitcoin on rallies and well the other way as well on the sell offs.
