Do You Banano ?

When I go over what Banano is and their goal it might remind you of Gridcoin and their projects.

You see mining POW is honestly a huge waste of potential resources. You honestly can't say it is not, those mining GPUs and CPUs could be put to do some serious work when calculating for new research. This is the main goal of Gridcoin however to me it is a complicated one to setup for for people to understand.

However a new coin/token call Banano offers an easy way to setup and start mining for the good of the world.

That site is called BananoMiner this miner will run directly from your browser but it does have a downloadable option. To keep things simple though we will be talking about the browser version only.

How to setup for Banano Mining.

Step 1

Download the wallet - https://banano.cc/#wallets

For me I downloaded the wallet to my phone via Kalium

Step 2

Once you have your wallet and your Banano Address go to BananoMiner
Add your Banano Address in the top input and click on start now.

Click Start Folding!
Set your folding power to low, medium or full. Full is going to make your computer a little sluggish.

Click Start Folding

Boom there you go your computer is now earning Banano tokens but also helping research. Finally something productive from all that mining.

If this is something that interest you I also highly recommend checking out Gridcoin and their projects.

Hmm...
Pretty sure this is not a new concept ie Folding coin and Byteball had one as well

I believe gridcoin started it they have been around forever
