I just received some amazing news, and wanted to share it with as many of you as possible. I'm sure many of you KIN holders have been wondering if and when kin was ever going to make a comeback. I think that time may be coming shortly, and thank Jebus, because I was getting fairly skeptical myself - especially since seeing articles like this!

However, new news has come to light within the last week, suggesting that Kik, the major messaging application, whom I believe KIN was originally designed for, will be moving forward with their plans to integrate KIN currency, into their marketplace. You will only be able to buy some sort of skins for the messenger application for the time being, but this shows promise that it really is happening.

According to this article, in the very near future, a limited number of users will be able to earn kin tokens in the Kin Marketplace Beta by taking quizzes, working on tutorials and answering polls. These tokens can, in turn, be used to purchase premium themes for the Kik app.

Kik is also rolling out free customization tools, including themes, for the app in response to user feedback, the company announced.

'Product manager Laura Newton wrote in a release that Kik "wanted to build Kin into [the] products that people already use on a daily basis." As such, custom options for its app felt like "the perfect option" given the demand.'

For those of you who don't know, Kin is operated on its own Blockchain, rather than on the Ethereum network as originally planned. The blockchain they are running now, is a fork of Stellers(XLM) original code. I hope this has made at least some people feel better :)
