The prosecutor's office is proceeding in the case of the bankrupt BitMarket.pl stock exchange. According to some media, customer losses about 500 000 000 USD, but probably they are much smaller, oscillating around 80 000 000 USD.
The case was recently moved from Olsztyn to Suwałki. The District Prosecutor's Office in Olsztyn asks the victims to send their reports of the crime to the District Prosecutor's Office in Suwałki. On the website of the Chamber of Commerce of Blockchain and New Technologies you will find models of relevant documents.
Please do not share your personal data, account numbers, etc. with anyone other than the Police/Prosecutor's Office. The Chamber is also not authorised to accept such data. Please think about and rather not pay in advance or sign any commitments with law firms or legal advisers who report their assistance in this matter. BitMarket.pl disappeared from the Internet on 8th July together with the users' funds. In the same month Tobiasz N., one of the co-owners of the stock exchange, committed suicide in accordance with the decision of the prosecutor's office.
