In this article, I will be conducting a SWOT analysis on World Wi-Fi to evaluate the internal and external factors that may have positive or negative effect on the progress of the project.

The internal factors are the strength and weakness while the external factors are the opportunities and threats of the project.

Strength

The strength of this project is in it management ability. The team of a project has an important role to play in the success of such project. The World Wi-Fi project team consists of experts with vast level of experience and a strong track record. Aside from the team, World Wi-Fi also has a very strong advisory board that is capable of supplying the team with topnotch advice to aid the operation of the project. The team has succeeded in partnering with well known and large partners.

This is an advantage to this project, as the team is extremely capable of leading the project to success.

Weakness

World Wi-Fi is an innovative project with unique features and a very strong team, but it is not without its weaknesses

The weakness of this project is the lack of a working prototype at this stage. A working prototype shows how committed the team is to deliver the project. It shows the progress of the project and how serious it is. Considering the services that World Wi-Fi offers, a working prototype at this stage will help attract more investors and actors to the platform.

Though the team is capable of launching the prototype soon due to the experience and expertise it possesses.

Opportunity

The use of the internet is limitless i.e it is needed in every work of life. The need for an easy access to the internet has been for a longtime. It is needed for a lot of use in the society, from being used by businesses, to being used for education and research purposes. The data connection industry is a multimillion dollar market. The opportunity to provide innovation in this market is obviously there for taking.

World WI-FI is creating a new niche in the market. It offers users the opportunity to enjoy the internet without stinting; this will massively increase the demand for this project.

The router owners will see this as an opportunity to make additional income, while advertisers too will identify it as an opportunity to effectively target their audience at a relatively low price.

World WI-FI takes this opportunity with both hands.

Threats

The major threat posed to any project is the possibility of a competitor. Though world WI-FI is the first of its kind, the possibility of potential competitors cannot be written off, due to the absence of barrier to entry in the market. Competitors might see how successful World WI-FI will be and get attracted to the imitating the project.

World WI-FI is at advantage by being the pacesetter, and the team is extremely capable of fighting off any competition.
