Save your P3C Tokens now in Cold Storage

Introduction

In the previous post, I have explained about the Core Basics of what p3c.io is about. If you've missed it, let me just drop my post link below and also grab an excerpt which I think is important before you proceed to get airdrops from this project.

Quick Explanation of P3C.io

When you purchase p3c tokens, 10% of ETC used to purchase will be distributed proportionally to all existing p3c token holders.
The more p3c tokens you hold, the larger stake in dividends you obtain from that 10%.
Every p3c tokens you purchase increases the p3c global price by +0.00000001 ETC. (Currently 1 p3c = 0.01 ETC)
If you choose to sell your p3c tokens, you will get back ETC immediately at the current p3d token price and the p3c global price goes down by -0.00000001 ETC.
10% of the sale of your p3c tokens will also be distributed to all existing p3c token holders.

How to save your P3C in cold storage?

Security measures for projects like P3C are of utmost importance to prevent hacking/skepticism/scams. Hence, the team has written quite a good tutorial on how you can store your P3C Tokens in Cold Storage INACCESSIBLE to the internet. Being inaccessible to the internet will prevent any forms of hacking and will already render your account secure, unless that is if you lose your own keys.

This tutorial is taken with courtesy from P3C team and because it is good enough, I don't intend to change much of the step by step but I would like to share this with you all as part of my marketing collaborations with the team. Step 1: Go to https://www.myetherwallet.com/

Step 2: Change the network to Ethereum Classic, and set the gas price to 1.

Step 3: Create a new wallet.

Step 4: Create a password for your cold storage wallet.

Step 5: Print out your paper wallet! This is the most important part, keep this part safe — print it out. Guard this with your life!

Step 6: Send Ethereum Classic, at least .01 ETC, to the address on the cold storage wallet.

Step 7: Reload the page. Make sure you are connected to the ETC network. Then click “Contracts”.

Step 7: Select the P3C Farm Contract on the Contracts page, OR enter the following manually.

Step 8: Click Access, and then select the createCrop function

Step 9: Set _selfBuy to True and _playerAddress to:

Step 10: Paste in the private key from your paper wallet and click Write.

Step 11: If you are seeding your cold storage farm with P3C, include ETC with the request, this is optional, and if you do it make sure to leave .01 ETC for the gas costs. IMPORTANT Set the gas limit to 1000000. When you are ready, make the transaction.

When the transaction is made, it should have a green box show up, click the link “view your transaction”.

You can see something like the following in gastracker once you're done. You will see the auto-compounding active in your cold storage giving you passive income.

Increasing your holdings in Cold Storage

You can increase your cold storage holdings of P3C tokens by sending more tokens to your farm address. You can do so by importing your account into Saturn Wallet and go to P3C.io/use.html. Like how you access your P3C holdings normally.

You now have a secure cold storage constantly compounding P3C tokens for you. The team at P3C is hard at work and I can't wait to share with you an upcoming project that has been in works for 5 months that is tied with this whole umbrella of P3C Project.
