As we mark the midpoint of the year it's important to recognize where we've been and where we've yet to go goes without saying that 2018 has been a bloodbath an absolute gauntlet for crypto projects over a thousand have already failed this year showing us that you have to do more than just raise funds or have a unique idea you need to stand out use this new technology in ways that gets people excited, I won't pretend to know how the rest of the year will go but I don't think we've seen the end of the bear yet I do think we'll spend the majority of 2018 in a painful market, so with that let's get right into it the coins I'm discussing today are what I consider to be undervalued and underrated for the team's the vision and the project that they represent I'm gonna stay away from projects that are in the top 20 because I don't see the purpose in labeling anything in the top 20 as underrated hugely it's the opposite so the first project I want to discuss is

Morpheus Network

Morpheus simplifies and automates the logistics documentation and compliance necessary for any complex international shipment for any company or individual using smart contracts these smart contracts drive the supply chain with predetermined automated work contracts shipping in customs documents as well as automated international payments to over 1,600 banks globally through integration with the Swift payments up to better understand the fully automated import and export system they're building and I do respect how they've been working hard to ensure things went as smoothly as possible essentially and I do feel that given the circumstances and the potential of the project of building Morpheus is very undervalued for what it represents .

NKN

So next we have NKN or New Kind Of Network it's a connectivity protocol an ecosystem powered by blockchain for an open decentralized and shared essentially just as etherium has done for computing and filed claim for storage NKN will decentralize network connectivity and transmission I think this is becoming an increasingly relevant type of blockchain use case as we see Internet freedom start to erode.

Substratum

Another great underrated project that is related to NKN is substratum which is an open source network that allows anyone to allocate spare computing resources to make the Internet a free and fair place for the entire world what's cool is that you can get paid in this Sub Token for running the node to forward content on your computer, The substratum network is a worldwide collection of nodes that securely delivers content without the need of a VPN or TOR, substratum is one of the more genuine projects in the space.

 Waltonchain 

Another project that I've visited is Walton Chain now Walton Chain is one of the most advanced supply chain blockchain projects out there and there's a lot of really good reasons to check it out for it to be outside of the top 50 definitely means that it's underrated they've gotten numerous patents protecting their intellectual property, they've got government cooperation in both China and Korea where Walton chain was just invited to the Great Hall of the people in China and in Korea, Walton changes collaborated with the Korean standards Association to start the Walton chain blockchain Institute allowing people to receive an education and blockchain development.

They're also building their own hardware there are RFID block chain chips will be mass-produced by the end of this year and we're already starting to see them have real-world usage with partnerships such as their work with Kelton where they're pioneering this unmanned store so speaking to Walton change team members it was clear that there's some big things in the way including details and clarification around the progress and the vision of this clearly underrated project Walton chain is currently one of the best coins to mine in crypto as well they have several hundred employees and international presence which I think puts some leagues above many other projects out there.

Ontology

Another project that I think is really delivering on expectations is Ontology, now ontology is an enterprise focus blockchain platform that is aiming to provide a high volume of fast and cheap transactions all while contending with challenges of interoperability and identity now what's really got me interested is ontology just launched their maintenance ontology 1.0 Prometheus, now ontology 1.0 includes the decentralized identity authentication protocol, distributed data management protocol and credit score protocol essentially ontology 1.0 their new main net provides new high performance public block chains that include a series of complete distributed Ledger's and smart contract systems and at the same time supports public chain customization and chain Network collaboration another thing to keep an eye on and something that I think makes ontology underrated is that similar to the Neo ecosystem which issues payments to token holders in the form of gasps ontology platform is set to pay out dividends in the form of ont or ontology gasps you can use the website https://ontcalc.com/ to calculate what your dividends would be based on the amount of ontology that you hold.

THEKEY
