Why EOS is special to you?
I sense the excitement from users about EOS and I would like you to share your comments about it. EOS is a blockchain-based, decentralized system that enables the development, hosting, and execution of commercial-scale decentralized applications (dApps) on its platform.
Why EOS is different?
As far I know, some people like it because It will be faster than other decentralized applications. I'm still trying to understand the whole concept of EOS.

From what I hear, EOS promises half a second block times, and better scalability, which is needed for apps that require a more real time feel.
Speed of the network, and no transaction fees is something eos is well known for. What I feel is the most ground breaking of the Eos project is governance. Basically token holders will be able to vote for everything from block producers, to software updates and infrastructure development to changes of how the knockdown works. This way eos will be able to improve without forks erc. Arbitration will also cover dispute over fraud and lost funds. In the long run this could evolve to some sort of online republic...
