Bithub Community and Partnership with BitFXT

As a cryptocurrency/Blockchain enthusiast I am always on a lookout for the latest cryptocurrency or blockchain initiative around. However due to the sheer number of projects released or initiated everyday it has become an increasingly difficult task to weave through the noise and hype of the crypto space and discover truly hidden gems that is worth our while. One of the projects that has captured my attention is Bithub Community which was referred to me by a fellow bounty hunter and Steemian @joanpablo.

From what I have gathered from the blog-post of @joanpablo and first hand experience using the site, it seems that it wants to position itself as a social media platform for cryptocurrency community that enables users to share content, promote projects, blogs, links and stories using the different social media formats such blog (both long and short form), forums, chat rooms (private and public), link sharing and ad serving. As mentioned in their Vision Statement they want to be (one of) the "first" social media for cryptocurrency community. Thus providing another venue where cryptocurrency enthusiasts and developers can get together and interact with each other.

Bithub Community Bounty Program

To create awareness for this initiative the core team have started a bounty program for the project which everyone can join here. To join in the bounty program just simply click on the link given and choose among the different bounty programs you would like to join. There are about six bounty programs to join please check if you qualified to join the programs as well as their availability as slots are limited. Bithub Community Selfdrop

For those who do not have the time to contribute in the awareness campaign but would like to contribute to the success of the project one can do a "selfdrop" in which you send Ethereum to a Smart Contract address of the project and you will get in return their utility token called BHCx. These tokens are utility tokens that will be used in its already functioning Bithub Community Platform and will be available for trade in exchanges soon. More information about the utility token is available below.

While writing this blog-post I saw in on of their twitter post that the first 5-10 people who will self drop 10 ETH of more will habe 100% bonus for a limited time. Should you participate in the Selfdrop?

Investments always entails risk and what I am about to tell you must be taken as financial opinion and not investment advice. Before you make any decision whether to invest or not make sure you have done your own research and most important of all do not invest more than you are willing to lose. Investment on this asset class is widely known to be highly risky and you might lose the full amount of your investment.

That being said let me tell you why I am bullish about this project. First I can see that the project is really moving forward really fast. They have just started their Selfdrop funding round but I have discovered that they have already partnered with several other high potential projects. One of this project is Bitfxt which is reported to be the largest blockchain project in Africa.

Bitfxt themselves is still conducting their long term funding round which has 5 rounds that will run for more than two years (unless they reach their hard cap of 5,000 ETH). They are one of several legitimate and respectible projects that have partnered with Bithub Community. Other projects includes: SwachhCoin and Satoexchange. As a testament on how fast the project is moving forward I have heard from people who have access to new partnerships that there is a new exchange partnership in the horizon in which the BHCx tokens will be tradeable already!

In addition to awesome partnerships the second reason why I think this project is worth your while is the fact that it has already a working platform. This is unlike the vast majority of projects out there that does not have any working product. In fact I have been testing the platform for a couple of days now I must say for a project this early I am pleasantly surprised. Although there are still a lot of things needed to be improved in the platform I am still very positive that this will be resolved in the future as they say "Rome was not built in a day."

Lastly and probably the most important aspect of the project is its community. I can see that most of the people that have join this project are cryptocurrency enthusiast, developers and bounty hunters. Which is not surprising considering the platform after all are aiming to on board these types of users. However for mass adoption to occur we should also on board other users which are not really into cryptocurrencies but are willing to learn and understand that nascent industry and the Bithub community website I think is a perfect platform which can help make this happen. It is always nice to be around other people who shares the same interests and passions. In this case cryptocurrency and blockchains. I believe that Bithub community will be able to build such a community that will usher in new users for cryptocurrencies and other blockchain applications. For my part I will be joining the platform and will be using it to share crypto related product and services and perhaps onboard Bithub Community members to Steemit and vice versa.

On a final note if you want to know if I am investing this project the answer is a big YES. You can do it as well and remember investment does not mean only monetary investment you can always invest your time and effort for the project by doing the bounties or by being active in the platform and giving feedback and suggestion to the developers and core team members.
