Happy My Blockchain Verification Has Been Approved
It took more than three weeks but my Blockchain.com identity verification and Stellar airdrop has finally come through! Exciting stuff. In case you aren't aware, blockchain.com is giving away $25 worth of stellar to all their verified users.
If i do have a complaint, it is the need to take a selfie along with your government issued identification. That's the stuff of loansharks but it does seem par for the course when it comes to crypto exchanges. I know Bittrex and Binance require the same level of 'kyc'. Somehow, banks and forex trading platforms don't require this selfie nonsense.
Coinbase has a similar promotion but it is only open to their US customers. Happy to report that blockchain.com isn't a scam and works for overseas customers as well. As long as you're comfortable sending strangers your selfie.
