Is a single cryptocurrency the future?

This time we bring you the point of view of 2 business experts, who are considered as champions in their areas of work, we talked about Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and the CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey. Starting with how they describe themselves and their thinking, paraphrasing to summarize it:

"I'm not an investor, I'm just passionate about technology. Today I do not see cryptocurrencies as a money, but in the future it may be. "

The condition that they place to recognize digital currencies as money is that they are unified, not an infinite diversity of currencies. They believe that this future is possible and feasible, causing cryptocurrencies to become the money of the Internet, the universal currency.

They do not care what they are called, if Bitcoin, Ethereum or whatever they are called, the important thing is their unification, to get what Woz calls "the pure coin", which in your opinion today that pure currency is BTC, implying that the others should be attached to it.

The history of Woz's relationship with cryptocurrencies is curious, because he recently decided to sell all his BTC except one, in the same way with ETH, because he hopes that one day the cryptocurrencies will be unified and can trade with that "money".

The reason why he stayed with 1 of each is to symbolize that they are his favorites so far, for its mathematical complexity and reflection of human nature. For Woz, cryptocurrencies are like numbers, an invention so natural created by man, without the need for central institutions that corrupt them.

"It can be observed in the statements of Woz and his ideals that he considers that the centralizing institutions have a certain degree of corruption."

Approach:

Now we want to ask you what a world with a single cryptocurrency would look like, what would happen with the ICOs? Would they maintain their quality of being decentralized and permissive? What would happen to the physical money?

Others, myself included, are hoping that cryptocurrency will break the notion that there must be one category killer entry in each segment of the market.

To the question in your title, my Magic 8-Ball says:

It is decidedly so
