Japan May Seek Lenient KYC Requirements For Crypto In G20 Summit
It has been common knowledge in the crypto community that Japan is one of the few countries that always been forward looking in terms of cryptocurrency adoption and integration into its economy.
Now, it is planning to take up the cryptocurrency case in G20 summit and share with each members its experience and insight on the nascent industry which the country has been in the fore front and center.
Cryptocurrency exchanges in the country has recently reported a resurgence of interest in cryptocurrency trading in the country for the past few months which might have been triggered by the recent bullish momentum of the general crypto market.
They draw this conclusion due to the increase of trading activities within their platforms as well as the sudden increase of signups of new users.
Bitpoint, DMM Bitcoin and Coincheck, three of the dominant crypto platforms in japan have reported sudden increase of new members which has increased to as much as 300%.
