SBI’s Money Tapp App
SBI Ripple Asia, a subsidiary of Japanese financial giant SBI holdings, has demonstrated an in-store payment using its Money Type app.
The demonstration was held prior to the planed full launch of the new service which will be powered by Ripple’s xCurrent payment product.

The new project will be used for live payments through affiliate merchants.
SBI believes that using the in-store payment users will experience convenience and security, two of the most sought after features in the space.
Money Tap provides immediate transfers from users with accounts at affiliated banks which includes 13 regional banks in the country and currently available for download for iOS and Android devices.
