Erik Voorhees, the CEO of Shapeshift has recently stated that it wants the social media giant’s cryptocurrency, Libra, into its platform.

He states at Bitcoin2019 event that even though the cryptocurrency does not yet exist, there is already a space for it in his platform.

The executive explains that his interest with the new crypto project depends on Libra project would work given the possibility that the project would when the final form is released.

Voorhees speculates that the price of Libra could surpass the dollar making it a more attractive for of payment.

Overhaul he thinks the entrance of Facebook into blockchain and cryptocurrency will help boost awareness of the emerging technology as well as the burgeoning asset class.
