A Crypto Wallet Through the Crypto Winter
Hello Steemians! This will be a quick post. As you know, we are in a Crypto winter now and we probably cannot expect a quick recovery. The ICO hype in 2017/18 fueled the irrational exuberance and now we are paying the debt. In my opinion, the next wave of bull run will be fueled by actual adoption, technological developments and institutional investments. All of these are going to take time.
As such, it is a good time for me to stash most of my crypto portfolio and wait this winter out. And the best way to store crypto is to use a hardware wallet 😎.
Ledger Nano S
I bought the Ledger Nano S during the Black Friday sale and got it at half the usual price. Sadly, the sale was only on the matte black version which isn't the transparent one which I prefer.
Black Friday sale is over and now you will have to pay the full price. However, if you take a look at the site, there is still discount for buying in bulk.
So if you are wondering what Xmas present to get for your crypto hodling friends, this might be a good idea 😂.
STEEM Price
Anyway, STEEM surged more than 20% over the past couple of days during this little rebound. Personally, I think the chance of this bounce being a bull trap is quite high, so I think it is best not to get your hopes too high. But congratulations to those who bought in at $0.30, it have some good gains in just a matter of days.

I'd like to get something like this eventually. I still don't understand all the advantages and disadvantages. So is it like a back-up, i mean, what if you lose the damn thing. Does it interact well with Coinbase, that's what i use... or what do you use? ty
It is a physical storage for your cryptocurrencies. In that case your cryptocurrencies won't be compromised even if your PC is hacked.
