Coinbase to Offer Ethereum Classic

Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase will list trading pairs for Ethereum Classic (ETC) “in the coming months,” according to an announcement on their Medium page. They have begun engineering work and will announce a public launch date via their usual social media channels when available.
New Binance Trading Pairs: ETC

Binance to Support Tron Mainnet Swap

Binance has announced it will offer support for the Tron (TRX) mainnet swap, with withdrawal suspension scheduled for June 24, 2018. Binance has opened trading on TRX/USDT as of today.
DENT Refunds Coinrail Hack Victims

Following yesterday’s story of a $40 million hack of Korean exchange Coinrail, DENT has announced that it has reimbursed all customers who were affected. Tokens will be available when Coinrail is back online.

Korea Will Regulate Exchanges Like Banks

The Korean Financial Intelligence Unit (KFIU) takes a step towards legitimizing digital currencies as it announces that Korean exchanges will now be regulated in the same manner as commercial banks. This will include requirements for licensing, KYC / AML, and compliance with local financial authorities.
South Korean Banks to Offer Blockchain-based ID Verification

The Korea Federation of Banks (KFB) plans to launch BankSign, an ID verification system on the blockchain, in July. The service will be built on a private Samsung-developed blockchain and will be available for online and mobile banking.
South Korean Agency Looks to Blockchain on Social Issues

The Seoul Digital Foundation, backed by the South Korean government, will work with messaging app developers Kakao to address “social problems” in the nation. Specifically, the agency will collaborate with Kakao’s blockchain subsidiary GroundX to implement blockchain solutions. The problems and solutions are as yet unspecified.
EU AMA on blockchain
