Fork completed: TIO/TIOx, important information

Dear TIOnauts,
We’re pleased to announce that we have successfully completed the fork of TIO.

On OCT 24th, Trade.io announced that they have completed the fork of TIO successfully. The fork goal was to replace TIO with TIOx retaining the same functions as the old one and to maximize the security of the platform after the cyber security experts monitoring Trade.io transactions detected a breach when a movement of 50 million trade token (TIO) worth $11.5 million was initiated from the Trade.io cold wallet.

No customer account was directly affected by the breach, nor were any funds lost as steps were quickly taken. After the fork completed successfully, TIO replaced its native token Trade Token (TIO) with Trade Token X (TIOx). Trade.io native token is then Trade Token X with ticker TIOx.

Users who owned TIO tokens prior to the fork on Trade.io exchange and/or Liquidity Pool will be swapped to TIOx, meaning that users will no longer see TIO, but rather TIOx, and deposits/withdrawals will be only TIOx.

There are certain processes for users who held TIO tokens on different wallets and exchanges for swapping TIO to TIOx.

TIO Held on MEW or ERC-20 Compatible Wallet:

Provided you had TIO in your wallet prior to the snapshot which was 21 October @ 15:00 EST, you will receive TIOx. If you are not seeing TIOx in your wallet, you need to do the following:

A) Add custom token
B) Add TIOx contract address which is: 0xd947b0ceab2a8885866b9a04a06ae99de852a3d4
C) Add symbol: TIOx and/or name which is Trade Token X

TIO Held On KuCoin:
TIO Airdropped TIOx in ratio 1:1 to users who held TIO tokens prior to the fork with the aid of KuCoin exchange. On Oct 26, KuCoin completed the swap successfully for its users.

TIO Held on OKEX, HitBTC, IDEX or gate.io:
Users who held their TIO tokens on exchanges mentioned above (OKEX, HitBTC, IDEX) should however contact TIO officials through this email [email protected] for further instructions.

TIOx Now Available For Deposit
After the fork completed on the 24th, withdrawal of TIOx token was disabled to examine and to make sure users do not encounter an error with the new token TIOx.

24hrs after the fork, Trade.io announced that withdrawal is now enabled for TIOx token exclusively on the Trade.io exchange and liquidity pool.

Furthermore, Trade.io added to the announcement that trading on its exchange will commence on Wednesday, 31 October 2018 with the exact time to be announced.

TIOx now has a partnership with Forbes CrytoMarkets and expects an increase in the awareness of the platform, that will bring in more traders to the TIO platform and investors to TIOx token, which will certainly increase the price.

URGENT: A malicious email has been sent, subject line: 'ToS Update. Import'. Please ignore and delete

Trade.io warned its users not no open suspicious mail titled: 'ToS update. Important!' sent from hackers/spammers who tried to get users personal details e.g login info.

Attention TIOnauts,
If you received an email from Trade.io with subject "ToS update. Important!", please note it is not from us. It is a malicious email with a dangerous link inside it.
DO NOT CLICK THE LINK!

Be careful clicking on any links provided to you in emails, on Telegram, on Whatsapp or anywhere else. Check the sender and think about the message, Trade.io will never ask you to provide your login details.

Incase you receive such mail later on, note that it's from Trade.io, delete it to secure your funds.
