1- Waves CEO, Sasha Ivanov, met with Hon. Dr Joseph Muscat, Prime Minister of Malta, and representatives of the Maltese government, to discuss potential scenarios for the use of the Waves platform in the state’s government and corporate sectors.
2 -In an announcement on Wednesday, Huobi said its wholly owned subsidiary Huobi Japan Holding Ltd has inked an agreement with Eric Cheng, the sole owner of BitTrade, to acquire a majority stake in the firm.BitTrade is currently one of 16 licensed exchanges in Japan and also a member of the Japanese Virtual Currency Exchange Association.
3 - FINRA announced today that it filed a complaint against Timothy Tilton Ayre of Agawam, Massachusetts, charging him with securities fraud and the unlawful distribution of an unregistered cryptocurrency security called HempCoin. This case represents FINRA’s first disciplinary action involving cryptocurrencies.
