For 2 years the word “Ethereum” on Google searched more than 110 Million Times

According to results of a research ConsenSys blockchain startup, for the last 2 years the word "Ethereum" was looked for in Google by more than 110 million times.

At the same time, the hashtag #ethereum is on average used 20 000 times a day on Twitter. In total the ETH network has processed about 240 million transactions. The record has been set on January 4 this year when for one knocks through network there have passed 1,3 million transactions.

The blockchain of Ethereum is served by about 17 000 notes located on 6 continents. It does it the most decentralized a blockchain platform what 35 million unique addresses registered in system also testify to. The number of active addresses has for the first time exceeded on January 1 million 4. On the same day the record to quantity of the registered addresses – over 350 000 has been set.

At the same time, ETH is the most popular platform for smart contracts. 94% of tokens from 100 of the largest on market capitalization and 87% from 800 largest have been produced on Ethereum blockchain. Issuers managed to attract 5,5 billion dollars in 2017 and 6,5 billion dollars for the first quarter 2018 thanks to tokens on the basis of Ethereum.

The largest community of developers on a blockchain (about 250 000 people) also supports Ethereum. As of October of last year the platform of development Truffle has been downloaded more than 200 000 times. Github contains 220 000 changes of a code and 14 000 repositories connected with ETH.

More than 1 million users is totaled by the MetaMask expansion which allows to interact with ETH blockchain, without demanding at the same time installation of a full note.

Startups, funds and the organizations join the alliances interested in advantages of the Ethereum system. The largest is Ethereum Enterprise Alliance which within one year has turned into the organization with more than 500 members.

The states which are engaged in own developments in the sphere of a blockchain are inclined to address Ethereum. So, this year Brazil has made the decision to involve the system of digital currency for processing of petitions. Switzerland registers digital identification documents in ETH network. Citizens of Canada can obtain information on use of government grants through Ethereum blockchain. Chile uses network for tracking of data in the power supply system.
