With Sharding they try to solve the congestion of the network, Casper is an algorithm that will change as it works the mining of Ethereum, where it will carry out the migration from the PoW to PoS, Plasma is a solution to improve the intelligent contracts and Raiden is a scability concentrated in the micropayments of Ethereum
They are quite ambitious projects and they continue to show how great Ethereum is.
