Most Popular Crypto Currency in Five Years
Since none of us have a Crystal Ball to look into the future, this is, of course, an impossible question to answer. So, we get to dream, to speculate and maybe write some SciFi.
The idea of cryptocurrency as a viable alternative to fiat is very slowly becoming a thought even for the mainstream population. However, most people cannot afford or are not willing to invest their money into buying into that market.
The way the world is moving, it seems that the divide between rich and poor is getting increasingly larger which means that fewer and fewer people have dispensable income. Most will have just enough to make ends meet.
That will make cryptocurrency which can be earned instead of bought increasingly attractive.
While I have no idea which one will be most popular in five years, I am sure it will something like Steem which can be earned or like Manna that is distributed for free.
Whichever one it is, I am hoping that I will have some of it in my portfolio.

Thank you so much!! Highly appreciated!!
The first thought I had was, well my mom has one, a crystal ball, made from volcanic crystal. I need to get one. I want to diversify my divination. I need to learn more about runes, instead of just basics, and I do tarot. You know, maybe I'll do a reading about crypto lol
But yeah, a crystal ball won't tell you the actual future but will depict symbols and images that you then interpret.
I personally see Litecoin doing very well within five years. EOS is looking pretty good too. I don't know too much, but I see Bitcoin still being the head hauncho of all cryptos but its 5 of growth will slow, while the 5 of growth of other cryptos will sky rocket in comparison.
Wow!! Your mom has a crystal ball!! that is so cool!!!
IKR! When my parents were still together, my dad worked for Bombadier in Mexico City as the Canadian liaison and he visited a volcano and brought back some volcanic relics. I've got a black turtle made from volcanic something or other. The crystal is transparent but has a distinguishable blue hue. It makes the crystal ball very lunar looking. I'd have to take pictures of it at some point.
Oh, she also has a wand made of crystal, pure quarts, I think, and with a bunch of different gemstones. It's pretty impressive.
That sounds all very interesting. I think it is time for you to take some good pictures and make a post for us to see!!!
I think so too, eh ;)
I'm with you!
I found this to be a tougher prompt. Aside from not having the crystal ball, I'm not very versed in crypto and don't really have a desire. I got into STEEM because of Steemit, and the whole speculative thing with just STEEM is about as wild a ride as I really want. I'm realizing though, that I probably should know more about blockchain technology, since it seems like it could do other things, without crypto.
So, like quite a few of the other posts we've done so far in this challenge, this one made me think outside of my comfort zone.
I agree that it would be great if the next dominant crypto was something like STEEM. That would signal to me that we're moving away from eons old ideas of value based on scarcity and difficulty to procure to something based on utility and scalability. That would bode well for all cryptos like STEEM, and will ultimately be the way we all get to global acceptance and use of crypto.
I am taking the liberty to drop a link to my latest podcast here. This one talks a bit about how the blockchain works and it also has a link to a previous podcast in the post also explaining blockchain technology.
