NewYorkCoin is Making It Rain All Weekend!
Oh my goodness!
If you haven’t heard yet, there’s a MASSIVE rainstorm going on in the NewYorkCoin Discord Server this weekend.
Why is it happening?
Well, first of all, there was a security fork on the blockchain last Monday that we made it through. The community learned a LOT during this transition, and has become much stronger for it.
Then, the community believes that rainstorm events are an amazing time to help others learn more about this particular cryptocurrency. Did you know that NewYorkCoin is actively being accepted by more than 40 vendors around the world? The NewYorkCoin transactions are super fast (much faster than Bitcoin and LiteCoin), and there are no transaction fees. I actually first signed up when there was a rainstorm back in July, and stayed because of the community members - some of the most down to earth and helpful people I have met.
If you are already a member, then all you have to do is be online in the server to catch that rain.

I don't really follow these things so much as I get easily overwhelmed, @mrscwin. I thought I'd just continue to support 'steem' along as I use it more ...
