PRELIMINARY

Blockchain is the foundational technology behind Digital assets(cryptocurrency). It is also a potentially groundbreaking innovation in how data is created, shared, and edited. Through an immutable ledger and consensus algorithms that ensure the integrity of the blockchain, it is possible to create a “trustless” type of information; a type that is truly decentralized and transparent. Blockchain became very popular in late 2017 and early 2018, where we all witnessed various industries and sectors, adopting it in order to create a stronger innovation. So many companies and Finacial sectors have started adopting blockchain technology because of its various benefits.

VOLUM blockchain platform is a holding company that has deceided to leverage blockchain technology in order to curb the challenges of companies developing to international standards.

Before i proceed, i would like you( Reader's) to understand the meaning of a Holding Company.

A holding company is a company that doesn't have any operations, activities, or other active business itself. Instead, the holding company owns assets such as These assets can be shares of stock in other corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, private equity funds, hedge funds, publicly traded stocks, etc.
A holding company exists for the sole purpose of assisting and controlling other companies, be they other corporations, limited partnerships or limited liability companies.

ABOUT VOLUM

VOLUM is a blockchain-based Holding company that has developed a Business-to-Business (B2B) platform whereby companies can grow their various businesses to international standards. VOLUM platform does not admit companies with minimum standards, rather only companies that has proven to have reached the standard of VOLUM will be allowed to use the VOLUM blockchain platform. All VOLUM does is to search for companies that has the required standards to use the VOLUM platform, Volum permits the company to join its platform, then assists, controls and merit form the company's benefits.

VOLUM blockchain platform was designed with the sole aim of providing an ecosystem where companies can leverage blockchain technology, resources and other tools required to develop their companies to a much stronger standard. VOLUM increases investment value and stability through its holding company structure, and invests in portfolio companies that currently possess, or have the ability to easily create, long-term asset value.
Furthermore, any portfolio entity of the holding company that has a blockchain-based business must accept the VLM token as its sole utility token.

VOLUM team and developers decided to create a native token that will grant users full access to the Volum platform. The VLM token serves as the utility token of VOLUM ecosystem and will be the standard mode of payments and other services offered on VOLUM. VLM is developed on the Ethereum blockchain and smart contracts based ERC-20 and ERC-721. This is so because the VOLUM platform is a multi-sector enterprise and the platform has the ability to handle a wide variety of transaction types.
