Bitcoin and the 10k Tease!
Depending on what exchange you look at bitcoin came just shy of hitting that 10K psychological level. That was the case for Coinbase and Bitfinex, which are the two large exchanges I look at.
The 10K Tease
Despite come ever so short of touching 10K again, the price action is still on the positive side.
We very well could have broken down out of the little range we were in rather than up and out, so keep that in perspective. I get into further price analysis in the video below.
Ethereum is still acting a bit better on a whole the past week and Litecoin finally got in gear and pushed higher. It's now testing the prior high it broke over the weekend. We shall see if it holds.

I think we will be knocking on the door again and will break up and out... I've been surprised that after the 200 EMA death cross, that we've broken out of the bear trend so quickly... I think Ethereum will continue to run for a while and ETH profits will go back into BTC and other alts for a mini alt run.. Either way seems super bullish and this is the first of many knocks if it requires to bust through.
I am surprised that the price did not fall lower after failing $10k but volume is kind of weak. It does seem positive and we may get another try if regulators do not spoil the party tomorrow with Ethereum.
Welp, it didn't hold up much longer for us. Quite a little sell off the past couple hours. :-(
Have to look at the strongest ones showing relative strength like EOS! They will be the ones to go more when the market strengthens again.
That's right! Relative strength is an important aspect to pay mind too.

STOPNice job as always with the analysis on the major cryptos. Maybe you could through in your thoughts at the end of these videos on Steem and steem dollars. They are off 4 dollars and seem to be heading down. Thanks @scaredycatguide.
Yeah, I tend to do separate posts for steem price analysis. The one I did a few days back is still in play. After failing to push through $4 we are headed toward that $3.25 support. If that does not hold the $2.60 area would be next level lower. Upside is still that $4.50 area.
