Crypto News: Circle Gets Huge New Investment Round of $110 Million!
The news is getting heavy folks. As I stare at today's market bloodbath I can't help but wondering what is next to come for the cryptospace in general. Then I came across an interesting article where I learned that Circle recently closed a $110 million Series E fundraising deal.
You guys remember Circle, the little Goldman Sachs backed fintech company that is making a serious move into cryptocurrency trading right?
Well apparently at this point what started as a little startup now has funding of $3 billion.
I've got to imagine that what we are seeing is a quite move into crypto by some of the largest financial players in the world. I'm going to just sit tight and hodl at the moment and see how all this plays out. I refuse to believe that all this investment is being made for nothing though...
Another interesting fact is that Circle recently revealed an ambitious plan to launch a "US dollar coin," or a blockchain native asset that'll be regulated and backed by real government currency. Yah, that is a game changer right there if I've ever seen one...
Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire is clearly making his best effort to become a huge mega corporate entity in the cryptocurrency services industry.
Lets see where this all goes shall we?

So much good news about cryptocurrencies right now, but price doesn't increase. Why?
What I heard is that Barclays is doing the same thing, but only more discreet as even their CEO is quite about the topic. This banks are finally seeing the capabilitites of cryptocurrencies.
