Gone are the days when people have problems with learning due to learning disabilities, poor financing or just unable to flourish, I remember 2 decades ago, it was quite difficult to get the right tool to facilitate proper learning, some have the will to learn and even the abilities but due to some circumstances they are unable to receive good education. Getting the right tools in other to ensure adequate and less stressful ways of learning is so important but rather rare.

Although technology has evolved in our present age that things has improved remarkably yet there are people who are less privileged. Education should always be part of our priorities as human need as it definitely has either positive or negative impact on our future generation, there are many less privileged who are willing to learn and who could benefit from all the sophisticated technology existing these days. Social media and internet as a whole as increased the rate of improved IQ, many are now motivated to learn more from researching nowadays.

Generally speaking people with learning disabilities are of average or above average intelligence as they may look perfectly normal but are unable to act or learn as someone of similar age, there are many disabilities such as Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) this condition adversely affects how sound travels unimpeded through ear is processed or interpreted by the brain. Dyscalculia; This disability affects a person’s ability to understand numbers and learn math facts, Dysgraphia; This disability affects a person’s handwriting ability and, fine motor skills. This is just to name a few

With all being said, there is an amazing project called Leap With Alice, their aim is to eliminate barriers which obviously has been a stumbling block for students and educators for decades now, being less privileged or having certain learning disabilities will no longer be the reason for poor education, as they will ensure educators has the right tools to provide enhanced educational materials. This application is called ‘The AliceSuite’.

I undoubtedly wrote this with so much excitement because I know the future of my children and so many students will be made brighter that we will no longer have to worry about the quality and standard of tools being used.
