A BMW dealer announced that it will accept payment through crypto coins. UK-based Stephen James BMW will allow customers to pay for new vehicles with Bitcoin.
Stephen James is an authorized BMW dealer with branches in London and Kent. Bitcoin payments offer an important first for the sector and daily sellers.
This is not the first interaction of the German automobile giant with Blockchain-based technology. As we have reported earlier, the company has recently launched a program that allows dealerships to use Blockchain solutions to track the mileage of rented and borrowed vehicles.
BMW is also part of MOBI, a consortium of automobile companies that further develop the development of Blockchain applications for the automotive industry.
